Closing Jobs

Closing a job within Job Manager prevents any further job charges or costs from being added to the job. If additional job charges need to be attached, the job can be reopened at any time. Jobs can be closed in one of three ways with Job Manager - through the Job Details page, the Close Job window, or the Job List window. The method you select will be based on your environment and the method with which you feel most comfortable.

Closing a through the Job Details page

  1. Open the Job Details page for the job you want to close.
  2. Click Edit ( ). The Job Details page will display in Entry and Edit mode.
  3. Check the CLOSED ON check box. The current date will be inserted into the Close Date field automatically. Clicking Update ( ) will save the changes you have made to the job on the database.
