Determining Job Status

Determining Job Status

The Job Status window allows you to determine the current status of an individual job. The Job Status window provides a number of options and features - users can view the current location of the job within the workflow; view individual cost center detail information (i.e. entry date, departure date, job charges, etc.); and edit or change the job's workflow by adding, removing, or rearranging the cost centers the job will encounter.

Determining the status of a job

  1. Click the Jobs tab. The Jobs Home page opens.
  2. Click the Job Status link above the header of the page. The Job Status page opens, with the search dialog open.

  1. Type a Job Number and click GO or Search for a Job. Click the Job once you have found it. The Job Status page for the selected job will be displayed.

The Job Status page displays the job's entire workflow and highlights the appropriate cost center to indicate where the job is currently located. The window also displays which cost centers the job has already encountered and determines which cost centers are still awaiting the job's arrival. The following steps provide the instructions for viewing detailed cost center information through the Job Status page.

Viewing cost center detail

  1. Click the View link for an item in the Job Status list. The Cost Center Details page for the selected item will open in a new browser window. The Cost Center Details page displays when the job entered and left the cost center, how long it remained there, and any job charges that were applied in the cost center.
