Suggested Job Price

Suggested Job Price

The Job Manager application calculates suggested total job price depending on the billing type of the particular job.

In case of the Order Items billing type, the suggested total price of the job combines prices of all order items and job charges logged as Customer Alterations (CA).

In case of the Production Charges billing type, the suggested total price of the job is the sum of all job charges that have either a regular Billable (B) or Customer Alterations (CA) status.

For more information on job billing types, refer to the "Job Billing Types" section.

The prices of the order items are specified by the user in the Job Entry & Edit page, and no re-pricing is performed later (refer to the "Adding Line Items To A Job" section). The prices of the job charges are calculated dynamically based on the active price structure for the job.

Important! The order items and/or job charges that contribute to the suggested job price are considered to be "invoiceables". Thus, the suggested total job price can also be described as the sum of total prices of its invoiceables.
