In addition to fulfilling their normal responsibilities of uploading files to a proof, producers may also want to review proof histories and from time to time, they may even be responsible for trafficking proofs.
While trafficking activities are typically the responsibility of assigned managers, they can also be performed by producers. This is done by monitoring the status of the approval processes for which you have been assigned as a producer, and deciding "what to do next". This could include sending files back to production if they have been rejected and new versions are requested, uploading new versions of files, adding and removing reviewers from active stages, moving the approval process to the next stage, or completing an approval process.
Before you engage in trafficking activities, make sure that you have a clear understanding of your trafficking responsibilities as determined by the managers of the approval processes to which you are assigned.
