The General Parameters are used to set the client cache behavior and the web site name Image Portal will display in the top of web browsers that are used to access the web server.
1. Open the Image Portal Configuration Page.
2. Scroll down to the section marked “General Parameters”.
3. Type the name of the web site, as you want it displayed at the top of the web browsers users use to connect to Image Portal.
4. Enable the cache preview images check box, if desired. When enabled, bandwidth usage may be reduced, but changes and updates to cached images will not be reflected to Image Portal users until the next login.
5. Save the General Parameters settings by clicking Save. Continue on to “Database Connection Parameters”.
