Generating A Work Day Summary

Job charge information recorded by users of Job Manager's Job Recorder page may be viewed, edited, and reported using the Work Day Summary page. The Work Day Summary page allows users to select an employee's information on a specified date. The Work Day Summary page will also summarize the time spent and material used, allowing you to quickly review employee productivity for the specified date.

Generating a work day summary

  1. Click the Production tab. The Production Home page will open.
  2. Select the Work Day Summary link above the page header. The Work Day Summary page will open.

  1. Optional: Select an employee in the Employee Selector or type "All" in the Employee field.
  2. Enter the date for which you want to search in the Date field.
  3. Optional: Type the time in which the shift starts in the Shift Time Starts field.
  4. Click Search ( ). The Work Day Summary page will update itself to display a detailed view of the job charges entered during the specified date.
  5. Optional: Click the View drop down list to change the information displayed in the Work Say Summary page. Available views include: Details, Details with Notes, Summary by Cost Center, Summary by Job, and Summary by Task.
  6. Optional: Click the Refresh button to change the page refresh setting. Available settings include: Manual, Every 60 Seconds, and Every 5 Minutes. If set to refresh Manually, the page will not be refreshed until the Refresh button ( ) is clicked.
  7. PRINTING: To print the results of the Work Day Summary page, click the Print View link in the page header. A new browser window will open, displaying the summary in a manner suitable for printing.

  1. EXPORTING: To export the results of the Work Day Summary page, click the Export Data link in the page header. In the Export Data Options window, select the format of the resulting text/ASCII file, and click OK. The file will be exported and downloaded according to the download setting of your browser.
