Reporting When Viewing Forms

Reports are available whenever a database record is displayed in a Virtual Ticket Developer Form and a Report has been defined in the system that is associated with the Folder Type corresponding to the database record currently being displayed. For example, if a report has been defined in the system and the Administrator has assigned it to the Folder Type “Digital Resources”, the Report can be accessed from any location in which Digital Resource record information is displayed in a Form.

Generate a report when viewing a Form

1. Display a record in a Virtual Ticket Developer Form.

2. Open the Virtual Ticket Developer File menu and select Print Report.... A Print Report window will open.

3. Select the Report you want to generate from the drop down list of available Reports. Only Reports that have been assigned to the Folder Type related to the currently displayed information will be available.

4. Click Open ( ) to generate the Report and open it for review. (Alternately, reports can be Saved without opening by clicking Save As or Printed by clicking Print.) A Generating Report window will appear, showing the status of the Report generation. When complete, the Report will open.
