Drawing Boxes and Importing Images
The Box Creation Tool allows you to create rectangular boxes of various fills, colors, and line widths on your forms. Boxes created using the Box Tool can also be used to display images imported from the file system. For example, you may want to include your company's logo on of the forms you create.
To draw a box and import an image:
1. Select the Box Tool from the Tools Palette.
2. Move the cursor to the appropriate position, then click and drag to draw a box on the form.
3. Select Import Picture... from the Form menu.
Tip: The box proportions may be locked during resize by pressing the Shift key while dragging a box handle.
Once a dialog appears, browse to and select the appropriate picture and click Choose. The picture will be imported into the form and appear within the box that was selected (the picture will automatically resize itself to fill the box).
4. Apply the appropriate attributes (fill, color, line width) to the new box.
5. Select Save Form from the Form menu to save the changes you have made to the form.
At this point, a new box has been added to the form. You can now continue drawing boxes or move on to the next type of form object you want to place on the form. For details on moving, resizing, copying, or pasting boxes, please refer to the "Working with Form Objects: Supported Actions" section of this guide.
