Updating file information may be required when the database goes out of sync with the file system. Since this tool attempts to update the database based on the files, folders, and volumes in the file system, information may be added and removed from the database as a result of performing an Update.
This tool can be run on files, folders, and volumes. When used, all updating is done via the Client.
