Lookup and Add Menu

Drag and Drop a file into Virtual Ticket Developer

The Lookup and Add Menu appears whenever you drag and drop a file into a suitable client window or File Collector.

Lookup

Looks up the digital resources corresponding to the files. If the digital resources are present in the database, they will be displayed. If digital resources for the files are not present in the database, the client will display a message indicating they were not found.

Add

Adds digital resources for the files and folders to the database.

Cancel

Closes the menu without adding or looking-up.

Procedures

To lookup digital resources in the database:

  • Click Lookup. Virtual Ticket Developer will search the database for the digital resource corresponding to the file/folder. If a digital resource exists, Virtual Ticket Developer will display the file in the active client window. If a digital resource does not exist, Virtual Ticket Developer will return a message indicating that it has not been found in the database.

To add a digital resource for a file or folder to the database:

* Click Add. A digital resource for the file/folder will be added to the database.

To close the Lookup and Add Menu without looking-up or adding digital resources to the database:

* Click Cancel. The Lookup and Add Menu will close. Digital Resources will not be looked-up or added.
