When adding digital resources the client will attempt to extract the metadata from the file and add it to the database. Updates or changes to the file will not be reflected in the system until the digital resource is added again or it is updated from within the client. Since Virtual Ticket Developer records files as unique based upon file name and file location, multiple digital resources with the same name but different locations may be added.
