Notifications

Notification routines for different events and actions alert users to activities that occur within the Virtual Ticket Developer system. Notification routines may be executed (or notifications manually generated by users of Virtual Ticket Developer) based on any event which involves the addition, deletion, or modification of information stored in the Virtual Ticket Developer system. For example, if instructions for a job are changed, an event and action could be defined to automatically notify the appropriate users of the change, ensuring that each user is presented with the most accurate and up-to-date information available for the job.

Terminology: A "Job" is a special type of Folder Type in the Virtual Ticket Developer system. In your environment, the Job might represent something like a project, a case, an issue, or something else entirely.
