Reporting from Print menu Links
In addition to Reports that appear in the Custom Queries & Reports boxes on Job Manager pages (such reports are referred to as Page Link Reports), Reports can also be available in the Print menu of pages displaying database record information.
Reports are displayed in the Print menu only if the following conditions are met:
Reports have been created for the system.
Some of the Reports are based on the same Folder Type as the record information currently displayed in the page.
The Reports do not need user input before being generated.
You have been granted access permission to the Reports.
If these conditions have been met, Reports will be available within Job Manager Print menus.
Note: This procedure describes the process generating Reports from the Print menu. It is important to note that if the Choose Report Format warning message has been suppressed, the Report will begin to be generated as soon as it is selected in the Print menu. (Information on suppressing the Choose Report Format warning message is available in "Setting the Report Format Warning Message".) If the Choose Report Format warning message is not suppressed, you will have the opportunity to choose the format of the Report, as described in this procedure. For information on how to select a Report Format even if the Choose Report Format warning message is suppressed, see "Forcing the ability to select a Report Format".
- Select a Report in the Print menu. The Choose Report Format warning message will appear and you can continue with the next step.
Note: If the Choose Report Format warning message has been suppressed, it will not appear and the Report will automatically begin generating.
- Select a format to generate the Report in. The default format is PDF. Other available formats include EXCEL (Microsoft Excel) and CSV (Comma Separated Values text file).
Note: If the Job Manager database is hosted by MS SQL Server 2005 Workgroup Edition, reports cannot be generated in CSV format.'

- Click OK (
) in the Choose Report Format warning message. The Report Generation status window will appear while the Report is being generated.
- Optional: Click Cancel (
) to stop generating the Report. The Report Generation status window will close and the Report will not be generated.
- Download the Report. When the Report has been generated, it will be downloaded to your computer using the standard download mechanism for your browser. This may be an automatic process, or it may require user interaction.
