Calendars

Calendars are used in the Advanced Workflow & Scheduling (AWS) Solution to identify days on which work will and will not be performed. You can create as many Calendars as needed to accommodate multiple shifts, the specific type of work being done or unique scheduling constraints (overtime, rush work, part time work, etc...). Regardless of the number of Calendars you create, you can only select one Calendar for scheduling a particular workflow. Additionally, you can select one Calendar as a Default Calendar. The Default Calendar will be used for scheduling workflows unless another Calendar is selected.

Calendar Setup Controls
Set Default When enabled, the Calendar will be used as the default Calendar used by schedules. Only one Calendar can be set as the default.
Holidays/Days Off Add and Remove standard holidays and repeating days off. These are days on which work will NOT be performed on your projects and will appear in red font on the Calendar.
Extra Holidays Add and remove extra holidays. Like Holidays/Days Off, these are also days on which work will NOT be performed on your projects, but they are not part of the standard Holidays/Days Off described above. Extra Holidays will appear in red font on the Calendar.
Extra Working Days Add and remove extra working days here. These are days that are already scheduled as a holiday or a day off, but during which work will be performed. Extra Working Days will appear in the Calendar as a normal working day; that is, it will appear in black font.
