Starting The Application Server Shell Program

The Application Server may be configured using the Application Server Shell program. This shell program serves as the primary user interface to the Application Server, allowing you to edit port settings, review database links, add server and client licenses, etc. In order to begin configuring the Application Server, we must first launch the Application Server Shell program.

Starting the Application Server Shell Program

1. Select Start:Programs:MetaCommunications:Application Server from the Task Bar. This will launch the Application Server Shell program.

You may now start configuring the Application Server.
