Enabling the Roxio Toast Helper

The Roxio Toast Helper is available to simplify the authoring of archived CD/DVD media. This Helper Application needs to be enabled before it will become available to users of the client.

When enabled, this Helper creates a script file on the OS X desktop that when double-clicked, automatically authors archive CD/DVD media using Roxio Toast.

This Helper Application needs to be enabled before it will become available to users of the Digital Storage Manager client for Mac OS X.

To enable the Roxio Toast Helper:

1. Open the Media Profiles window by selecting the Administration menu and clicking Media Profiles.
2. Select the CD/DVD Media Type.
3. Select the Archive Helpers Settings group if (if it is not already selected).
4. Select the Roxio Toast Helper from the Archive Helpers list.
5. Click Edit ( ) and select the Enabled checkbox.

1. Click Update ( ) when finished. The Roxio Toast Helper will be enabled and can be used for Archiving to CD/DVD Media.

You may wish to set this Helper Application as the default archiving Helper in the “CD/DVD Media Profiles”.
