In Virtual Ticket Developer, Custom Queries serve as an extension to Local and Global Finds and allow users to conduct comprehensive searches and generate custom-tailored reports.
After they have been set up by the Administrator, Custom Queries can be accessed in Virtual Ticket Developer either from the File or Tools menu. The availability of a certain Custom Query depends on the access privileges assigned to you at the time of query creation.
Note: When a Custom Query is created by the Administrator in the Virtual Ticket Developer application, each user/group defined in the system receives particular access privileges (for viewing, saving, and printing the query) according to the roles they play within the production environment.
If the Custom Query you have activated contains parameters, you will need to specify them in the Query window.
Query results are displayed in the window that allows you to view, and, if applicable, save and print the results listing.
To save the displayed results listing, click the Export button , indicate the format of the resulting delimited text file, and click OK. A standard save dialog box will appear, allowing you to specify the appropriate location and name of the text file that will be generated.
To print the displayed results listing, select Print in the File menu. A standard print dialog will appear, allowing you to specify the appropriate printing options.
By clicking the Search button located at the top right corner of the window, you can initiate another query execution with a different set of parameters.
