Understanding Forms

Each digital resource in the database contains a variety of information, some of which can be viewed and edited using the forms available when using Digital Storage Manager. In addition to displaying digital resource information, some forms can also be used to create new folders in the file system and new Jobs in the database.

Digital Storage Manager comes with several predefined forms that meet most common business needs. Predefined forms can be customized by the system administrator and, if needed, entirely new forms can be created and deployed within the system.
