Direct Script Editing

Digital Storage Manager provides the ability to edit script files directly in the database without having to first export and then re-import the file. Direct Script Editing is available only for Script files.

Editing script files directly in the database

1. Open the Stored Files window by selecting Stored Files in the Administrator menu.
2. Browse to and expand the Scripts branch in the navigation tree of the Stored Files window.
3. Select the script file you want to edit in the left-side navigation pane. The file contents will be displayed in the right-side editor pane.

1. Click Edit ( ). The script can be edited in the right-side editor pane.
2. Edit the script as desired.
3. Click Save ( ) when finished editing the script. The script will be re-saved to the database.
