Select Resource-> CTRL+Click-> View Properties
The Properties window displays digital resource properties related to files and folders added to the database. This window provides a quick and easy way to view (and in some cases, manage) important information related to the digital resource including file attributes, description information, processing information (not available for all files). Additionally, the Properties window provides the ability to manage keywords associated with the digital resource.

Standard digital resource property information is displayed in this tab. | |
Extended digital resource property information is displayed in this tab. The information contained in this tab is that same as that contained in the Information window for a digital resource. | |
Displays any informational messages related to the processing of the digital resource by the server agents called InterSync. If no messages are available, this tab is not displayed. | |
The unique identification number assigned to the digital resource. | |
The name of the file/folder associated with the digital resource. | |
Opens a drop-down menu for opening the digital resource or its parent folders in the Finder. Additionally, if the volume in which the digital resource is located is not mounted, the menu will contain an option to mount the volume. | |
The registered code for the application that created the file. | |
The date and time the file/folder was originally created in the file system. | |
The date and time the file/folder was last modified in the file system. | |
Opens the Add Keyword window for adding keywords to the digital resource. | |
This pane is used to display Retrieval Requests initiated for this digital resource. | |
To add a keyword to the digital resource:
- Click Add Keyword (
). This will open the Add Keyword window.
- Type a keyword.
- Click Add (
).
- Repeat as needed.
- Click Done (
) when finished adding keywords. This will close the Add Keyword window.
To remove a keyword from the digital resource:
To view the file/folder associated with the digital resource in a Finder window:
- Click Open in Finder.
- Select the object you want to open in Finder (file/folder, parent folder, parent volume, etc...).
