In addition to the standard printing options common to most applications, the Print dialog windows opened when folder records, documents, and digital resource extended previews are printed allow you to specify several other options.
The following options are listed in the Copies and Adjustments area of the Windows Print dialog:
Shrink oversized pages to paper size -- This option proportionally reduces folder record/document/extended preview pages to fit the paper size specified in the printer properties.
Expand small pages to paper size -- This option proportionally enlarges folder record/document/extended preview pages to fit the paper size specified in the printer properties.
Center pages -- This option centers each folder record/document/extended preview page within the paper dimensions specified in the printer properties.
The following options are listed in the Print Range and Format area of the Windows Print dialog when digital resource extended previews are printed:
Header -- This option places the location and name of the file whose extended preview is being printed at the top of each printed page.
Footer -- This option places page number information at the bottom of each printed page.
Note: In Virtual Ticket Developer, each form picture is saved in two formats: JPEG and PICT. In most cases, using PICT versions of form pictures leads to better form printing results. However, in some cases the PICT format cannot be rendered properly on Windows platforms. For this reason, JPEG versions of form pictures are used by default. To instruct Virtual Ticket Developer to use the PICT versions, select Preferences from the Edit menu and check the PICT option for the Form Appearance entry.
