Deleting Digital Resources

Virtual Ticket Developer provides the ability to delete digital resources from the database. Deleting digital resources does not delete the physical files from your file system; it merely deletes the digital resource folder record from the database.

Deleting a digital resource

1. Select the digital resource(s) you want to delete within Virtual Ticket Developer. Digital resources may be accessed through the File Board window, through a file collector field on a form in the Browser window, or through a search result.

2. Select Delete from the Tools Menu ( ). A dialog box will appear, asking you to confirm the deletion of the digital resources.
3. Click Yes ( ) if you want to delete the selected digital resource(s), or click No ( ) to cancel the deletion.

At this point, the digital resources have been deleted from the Virtual Ticket Developer database. The physical files and folders still exist in your file system and may be manually deleted through the Finder on your computer.
