Copying Files and Folders

In the course of your work, you may wish to copy files and folders associated with digital resources from one location to another. Typically this is when you determine that you can reuse or repurpose work that already exists for another job. The process of copying involves selecting the files you wish to copy, and selecting a destination you wish to copy the files to. If the files you wish to copy are no longer online (perhaps they are located on a removable hard drive that is not currently connected, or an archivist has copied them to removable media and deleted them from the online archive), Virtual Ticket Developer will recognize this and automatically open the Retrieval Options window instead of the standard Copy - Choose Destination Window used when copying files and folders.
