Checking Notification Status

Checking Notification Status

Notifications generated from the Browser window or forwarded from the In Box or In History sections of the Notification Box window automatically appear in the Out Box section of the Notification Box. If all recipients acknowledge these notifications, the notifications are automatically transferred to the Out History section of the window. At any time, you can check the status of a notification to see which users have acknowledged the notification and which users still have the notification pending.

Checking notification status

1. Select Notification Box from the Tools menu or press Command-B (Mac)/Ctrl-B (PC). This will open the Notification Box window for the user currently logged into the Virtual Ticket Developer application if it is not open, or bring it to the front if it is already open.

2. Select either the Out Box or Out History folder tab to view the notifications you have sent to other user(s)/group(s) in the system. A listing of the notifications that you have sent will be displayed, indicating specific information about each notification (folder type, event, number of recipients, etc.)

3. Double-click on the notification whose status you want to view. A Notification Targets dialog box will appear, displaying information about the users for whom the notification is pending under the “Pending” tab (if accessed from the Out Box folder tab) and information about the users who have acknowledged the notification under the “Acknowledged” tab.

4. OPTIONAL: Click the EXPORT button to export the displayed listing of users to a tab-delimited text file. A standard save dialog box will appear, allowing you to specify the file name and location for the exported information.

5. Click Ok ( ). This will close the Notification Targets dialog box and return you to the Notification Box.
