Looking Up Job and Digital Resource Information

Virtual Ticket Developer job tickets may be viewed for any open drawing or selected external reference contained in an open drawing.

Procedures

The following procedures are described using the ProductionPack menu in the AutoCAD menu bar. Be aware that the procedures described below can also be accomplished using the AutoCAD command line and via the AutoCAD context menu that appears when right-clicking in an open AutoCAD drawing.

Viewing Job Tickets for open drawings or selected external references

1. Open a drawing in your AutoCAD application, if it is not already open.
2. To view the Job Ticket for the open drawing: Make sure the drawing is active and no external references within it are selected.
3. To view the Job Ticket for an external reference within the drawing: Make sure an external reference is selected within the open drawing.
4. Select View Job Tickets in the ProductionPack menu in AutoCAD. The Job Ticket will be displayed for the corresponding drawing or selected external reference. If no Job Ticket corresponds to the open drawing or selected external reference, Virtual Ticket Developer will display an error message.

Note: The AutoCAD Command Line may be used to view Job Tickets as well. See “PP_VIEW_JOB_TICKETS” in the Command Line reference for additional detailis.

Viewing Digital Resources for open drawings or selected external references

1. Open a drawing in your AutoCAD application, if it is not already open.
2. To view the Digital Resource for the open drawing: Make sure the drawing is active and no external references within it are selected.
3. To view the Digital Resource for an external reference within the drawing: Make sure an external reference is selected within the open drawing.
4. Select View Digital Resources in the ProductionPack menu in AutoCAD. The Digital Resource will be displayed for the corresponding drawing or selected external reference. If no Digital Resource corresponds to the open drawing or selected external reference, Virtual Ticket Developer will display an error message.

Note: The AutoCAD Command Line may be used to view Digital Resources as well. See “PP_VIEW_DIGITAL_RESOURCES” in the Command Line reference for additional detailis.
