Features of the Finder Plug-in
The Finder Plug-in of the Production Pack enables you to perform Virtual Ticket Developer tasks directly from the plug-in. Key features of the Finder Plug-in include:
The ability to create and add digital resources in the Virtual Ticket Developer database for any files and folders displayed in the Finder.
The ability to move files and folders for which there are corresponding digital resources in the database to other locations while assuring that the database stays in sync.
The ability to archive files and folders for which there are corresponding digital resources in the Virtual Ticket Developer database with the Finder context menu.
The ability to easily view and edit metadata for files and folders with corresponding digital resources in the Virtual Ticket Developer database from the Finder application context menu.
The ability to easily log in to the Virtual Ticket Developer Client from the Finder application context menu without manually typing user name and password information.
The functionality of the Finder Plug-in may be accessed from the context menu of the Finder application after the Plug-in is installed. The context menu can be opened by CTRL+clicking or Right-clicking an object on the desktop or within Finder.
