Opens a quick search window for quickly locating and opening additional jobs by typing a Job number and clicking Go ( ) or by searching for and selecting a Job.
My Item Marker ( )
By clicking this icon, you can mark the current Job as a My Item. White markers ( ) indicate that the Job has not been marked as a My Item. Yellow markers ( ) indicate that the Job has been marked as a My Item.
Job Number and Name
The number and name of the currently displayed Job.
Edit
Changes the view from display to edit mode, allowing you to edit the Job's details.
Conducts a search for Approval Processes for the current Job.
Print
Prints the current Job using a predefined Print Form.
New Window
Displays the current Job details in a new browser window.
Job Number
The unique identifying number assigned to the Job.
Job Name
The name defined for the Job. (This field can be edited.)
Customer
The customer assigned to the Job.
Procedures
Searching for Jobs
Open the Find Jobs page if it is not already open.
Construct your search logic. Refer to Using Standard Searches for more information on search logic.
Click Search (). The search will be conducted. Results of the search will be displayed. See Find Jobs - Search Results for more information.
Editing Job Details
Click a Job link. Job Links are displayed in multiple areas throughout the user interface and are typically present any place where a Job Name or Job Number is displayed. The Job Information page will appear.
Click Edit ( ). The Job information will be displayed in Edit mode.
Edit the Name or Customer information for the Job. (Job numbers are not editable after a Job has been saved).
Click Update ( ) when finished.
Deleting a Job
Click Delete ( ). A confirmation dialog will appear.
Click OK ( ). The Job will be deleted from the database.
Printing Job Details
Click Print. A list of available print forms will appear.
Select a print form from the list. The form will open in a new browser window, with details of the Job displayed.
Click Print ( ). The Print window for your browser and operating system will appear. Continue Printing as you normally would.
