Customer Details Page


The Customer Details page is used to display and edit customer information stored in the database. For information on creating new customers, see New Customer page.

Contents

You can access the Customer Details page by clicking on the Customers tab and then selecting a customer from the list.


Page Elements

New Customer Opens the New Customer page for creating a new customer.
Find Customer Opens the Customer Search page for searching for customers.
Customer Search ( ) Opens a quick search window for quickly locating and opening additional customers by typing a customer code and clicking Go or by searching for and selecting a customer.
My Item Marker ( ) By clicking this star, you can add a customer to the My Items page. White stars indicate that the customer has not been added to the My Items page. Yellow stars indicate that the customer has been added to the My Items page.
Customer Code and Name The code and name of the currently displayed customer.
Edit Changes the view from display to edit mode, allowing you to edit the customer's details.
Delete Deletes the currently displayed customer.
Jobs Searches for all jobs for the current customer (Job Manager needs to be installed)
Print Prints the current customer using a predefined Print Form.
New Window Displays the current customer details in a new browser window.
Customer Code The unique identifying code assigned to the customer.
Customer Name The name defined for the customer. (This field can be edited.)


Searching for Customers

1. On the Customers page, click the Find Customers link in the upper-right corner of the page. 

2. The Find Customers page will open, allowing you to define the search criteria you want to use to search for customers. Search by either keyword, customer name, or customer code. Click Search to bring up search results.

Editing Customer Details

1. On the Customers page, select the customer you want to edit from the list. 

3. Click Edit on the Customer Details page. The Customer Details Edit page will open.

2. On this page, you can edit the customer's information. When finished, click Update to save your changes.

You can also hover over the customer name or code and click on the arrow that appears. On the drop down menu, select Edit to open the Customer Details Edit page.



Deleting a Customer



1. On the Customers page, select the customer you want to delete from the list. 

2. Click Delete on the Customer Details page.

3. A warning will popup allowing you to confirm the customer deletion. Click OK to delete the customer.



Printing Customer Details

1. On the Customers page, select a customer.

2. Click the Print link on the Customer Details page under the Edit and Delete buttons. The Print page will open either in a new tab or window.

3. Select Standard Web Form from the drop-down menu.

4. Select Print on the Print page to print the details.
