The first thing you should do after installing the software is make sure that the following two key roles have been assigned to individuals within your company:
- Database Administrator - The database administrator is someone who possesses the technical expertise required for maintaining the server components of the system, including the Windows 2003 Server operating system and the SQL Server database. The database administrator will be responsible for ensuring that the system is backed up on a regular basis.
- System Administrator - The system administrator will be responsible for setting up and configuring the system, including developing the internal structure of the system and making any modifications necessary as it is implemented throughout your company.
