Adding Files To The Workspace

Each user account defined in the Digital Storage Manager Web Client has a private workspace area for collecting thumbnail images of files. There may be certain files, for example, that you wish to keep readily available on a continual basis. By placing these files into your workspace, you will make them available to you whenever you log into the system, without having to repeatedly search for them.

Adding files to the workspace

1. In the Search Results page, locate the files you wish to place into your workspace and select the checkbox below each file. To select all files on the page, click SELECT ALL on the left side of the page. A checkmark appears in the box below each selected file.

2. Click ADD TO WORKSPACE on the left of the page. All files that have been checked will be automatically added to your workspace.
3. To view your private workspace, click the WORKSPACE tab. The Workspace page will appear, displaying all the files that currently reside in your Workspace area.
