The Production Stage represents a fixed stage in all approval process workflows. This is the starting stage of every workflow, and is the only stage in which files can be uploaded to the approval process by Producers.

If a proof is rejected in a subsequent stage and a new version of the proof needs to be added, this can be done in the Production Stage.
Users assigned to the Production Stage are called Producers and are responsible for uploading file content to the approval process in the Production Stage (Managers have the ability to upload files at any stage). Roles and responsibilities in the Production Stage consist of uploading the correct files to the approval process and assigning an approval status. When all files have been uploaded and the Producers have approved their files, the Manager can mark the stage as complete and activate the next stage in the process.
