My Items

Workgroups Portal is designed with the ability for users to mark various items they work with and have them appear in the My Items tab. This provides a quick and easy way for users to organize important and/or frequently viewed items for easy access.

The type of items available for marking to appear in the My Items page will vary depending on the components installed (Approval Manager and/or Job Manager) and the access permissions for the currently logged in user.

For an Approval Manager system, the following items can be made to appear in the My Items page:

  • Jobs and Job Saved Job Finds
  • Customers and Saved Customer Finds
  • Proofs and Saved Proof Finds

Note: Approval Manager only systems will not display My Estimates.

It is important to remember that items that appear in the My Items page will also appear in their normal locations. For instance a Job that appears in My Items will not be removed from the Jobs List appearing in the Jobs page.

Additionally, items that are marked to appear in the My Items tab are done so on a per-user basis. Items marked to appear in My Items by one user do not automatically appear in the My Items page for other users.
