Setting Up External Data Source(s) as Linked Server(s)

  1. Launch SQL Server Management Studio
  2. Connect to the SQL Server instance hosting your Virtual Ticket database
  3. Right click on Server Objects > Linked Servers node and choose New Linked Server...

  4. Enter a server name, server type, specify the login info and press OK.
