Managing the Application Server
The Application Server is designed to operate with a minimum amount of maintenance. This is easily achieved once the appropriate ports, database links, and user licenses have been configured (for instructions, see the previous chapter). This chapter will discuss the options and procedures for managing the Application Server. This involves managing user sessions and database links, broadcasting messages, and using the server log.
