Administering the Image Portal Web Server

Once the Image Portal Web Server has been properly installed and configured, you will need to continue setting it up using the built-in administrative functions located under the Administration tab.

In order to access the administrative functions, you must be logged as the Administrator user.

NOTE: By default, the Image Portal Web Server is added to the system under the “metacomm” virtual directory. In order to access the web server, if you have not set up a redirection page or have embedded the Image Portal in the frame of another page, you may need to specify the “metacomm” virtual directory in the URL. For example, http://127.0.0.1/metacomm/.
