Retrieval Request Queue

Retrieval Request Queue

The Retrieval Request Queue is a predefined Global Search that displays all Retrieval Requests with a status of Open. Since this is a global search, it can be modified by the Administrator.

The Retrieval Request Queue window is typically used in a centralized archivist environment where one archivist, or a group of archivists, is responsible for fulfilling requests for production group members.

From the Retrieval Request Queue, users can perform the following actions:

View open retrieval requests.

Open in File System- Reveal the target location specified by the requesting user.

Copy/Retrieve Files - Load offline or secure media and copy files to the target location.

Change the status. When the status is changed to anything other than Open, the Retrieval Request will be removed from the Retrieval Request Queue. If the status is set to Completed or Web Ready, notifications are sent to the user who created the Retrieval Request.
